I am Natalie
Founder | Candle Maker | Faith Content Creator | Fibromyalgia Warrior
I didn't plan to start a candle company. It started in a therapy session. My therapist asked me one question, "What is one thing in your life that sparks happiness?" and without hesitation, candles came to mind.
I left that session, ordered my first kit, and on July 1st, 2023, Canada Day, I made my very first candle. I gave them to friends, neighbours, and family. And something came alive in me that I hadn't felt in a long time. But life happened. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, a chronic invisible illness that changed everything. I stepped away from candle making to take care of myself. And what carried me through the hardest season of my life was the Word of God.
Lamentations 3. Psalm 46:10. Psalm 92. Psalm 150.
Those scriptures held me when nothing else could. And when I came back, I came back differently to carry a message.
